The sudden death of the artist formerly known as “Prince” and recently known as “Prince” should remind all of us that death comes to us all and sometimes quite suddenly. While I am not an expert on all things “Prince,” I have seen enough of his sound bites to know pushing boundaries to advance the cult of sex, drugs, and rock and roll could not continue forever. Even the grandpas of rock (the Rolling Stones) will meet their Maker one day.
   The Prince of Peace became a pauper, actually became sin to save us and all who trust in Him while there is still time. Not knowing the artist formerly known as “Prince” well enough to know if he who is mourned as a prince among men by the sycophants in media actually had a faith relationship with Jesus Christ, I will only note that Christ died to save everyone and earnestly desires that all repent of their sinful lives and receive the gift of life He offers through the Gospel. If you are reading this, it is not too late for you. Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, the PRINCE of Peace!
